Aaron’s brace gives Aylesbury Hornets FC apres lockdown victory

Despite a few months in which the only running the Hornets players have being doing is to the fridge to get another beer, they started the first game after lockdown like a train.

Two goals from Aaron and a terrific volley from Ben gave Hornets a 3-0 Half time lead against Quainton. Manager Uzi had to make numerous subs in the second half as the Hornets buzzed around far less in the second half as fatigue set in. On the hour mark Quainton pulled one back and caused mild concern amongst the Hornets ranks when they scored a second towards the end but Hornets had the steely determination to see them through and with Michael in goal and Dale and Enos solid at the back there was only one winner.
